ROMAGNA MIRO
Miro Romagna (Venezia 1927 - Ivi 2006), has participated in the artistic life in Italy since 1949 at the Bevilacqua La Masa of Venice, participating in eleven editions of exhibitions collecting premiums, reports and official purchases. In 1956 he won the third prize Marzotto, at IV National Painting Exhibition in Valdagno (Vi). The strong personality and the artistic quality of his work put him among the greatest Venetian painters, making him achieve during his artistic maturity, numerous prizes and awards in Italy and abroad. He taught lessons of painting, watercolor, and various techniques at the International Center of Design in Venice.
He was part of the second generation of Venetian painters and in the years he is introduced inside the existing and mature painters of Venice, already operating since the time of the founding of Post - Impressionism lagoon movement and the School of Burano movement. Venice is the main subject with a brush kind of "swordsman".
In 2008 the exhibition "Miro Romagna 1927 - 2006" at the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro in Venice. In 2009, the exhibition in Vittorio Veneto at Villa Croze and at Ceneda and Serravalle churches. In 2009 at the Villa Pisani of Strà, entrance halls, “I volti dell’arte. Da Palazzo Carminati ai giorni nostri”.
On 2013 the exhibition "Omaggio a Teolo" from 6 to 21/07 at the Museum of Contemporary Art "Dino Formaggio"," Palazzetto dei Vicari in Teolo.
